Hey all. I took Calc AB in senior year, self studied BC, and got a 4 on the AP BC test and a 5 on the AB subscore. I just had my first recitation in 114 and my TA zoomed through BC stuff, which I had forgotten over summer.

Since my memory is rusty, should I drop to 104? It was a pretty scary recitation...

If you stay in 114, be prepared to work very hard to understand. I stayed in 114 after getting a 4 in Calc BC, and it was a major mistake… 104 is not easy by any means, but it is better to get the foundation with 104, in my opinion.

Do 104 first, I was in the same situation but with 104, I’m going to do 103 my first semester and then 104 in my second semester. You should probably do 104 your first semester and then 114 your second semester.
