MATH-126 Difficulty?

How difficult is MATH-126 at USC? Regarding the class in general and tests/quizzes if applicable.

How does it compare to EE-241 and MATH-225?

Some people have said it’s a weeder class. In other words, it’s pretty hard.

Yes, MATH 126 is the most difficult of the calculus classes, 125 being the easiest, 226 next and then 126.

You will cover part of chapter 5 (I believe) though the end of chapter 9 in Essential Calculus by Stewart which is most of the AP Calculus BC topics + some others and more in depth as the AP test is fairly predictable and watered down. Exams will be a few questions of free response without the use of a calculator and you will have assigned homework and a quiz nearly every week (that you don’t have an exam).
