Math 16A HELPP

Hey guys. does anyone know how hard it is to get off the waitlist for math 16A?
I have my telebears appointment tomorrow. There are still some spots left but not many. I feel that more than likely I'll be waitlisted...

Does anyone know the difficulty level of 16A too?

16A is highly popular because it is the easier calculus route. Incomparably easier than the 1A-B series.

I’m really mad because I had my appointment two weeks ago and signed up for 16A then. But, due to the suckiness of TeleBEARS, I lost my place in my 16A DIS. Since all the DIS’s are full then, it won’t even let me sign up for a LEC (even though there are tons of spots in the LECs).

Do you know if they’ll open up more 16A discussions? I really need one :(

I had a similar situation too :frowning: I’m on waitlist for Math 16A because the discussions, and I am wondering if/when they’ll open up more discussions.

Also, I was wondering if it’s possible for students to attend classes even if they’re not registered in the class, so that if someone drops the class after the semester has already started, we can pick up from there and be an actual student in the class. Are you allowed to do this at UCB? Or does it depend on the professor?

Thanks :D

You can attend just about any class since you might be on the waitlist. In the lectures, which tend to be large, nobody would even notice. For a discussion or a very small class like a seminar with 15 people, waitlisted people generally can attend but if not registered at all for the class, it will depend upon the GSI.
