I took pre-cal in junior year and AP stats in senior year.
Since it's been a long time since I took pre-calc,
I don't really remember anything like formulas and stuff.
But I got A's in that class and didn't find the material too difficult.
Will I be prepared to take 16A?

Take this diagnostic online exam offered by the Math Department. If you score well enough you should start with Math 16A.

The link: Mathematics Diagnostic Testing - UC Berkeley Department of Mathematics

Math 16A is really easy... trust me.

So is Math 16B for that matter. I never went to lecture and got an A+. However, if one's math background isn't strong enough they might end up being one of those on the bottom of the grade distribution.

thanks for the link!
I don't think the problems are hard.
I would know how to solve them if I remember some of the specific concepts..like parabola formula..
I think I'll study in the summer and sign up for Math 16A..

the 16 series should not be a problem; a short amount of review - even a couple hours of looking over past problems/material would be enough to refresh your memories. the class will take you from there; it does not move too fast.
