Math 16B with Silver?

<p>Hey all,</p>

<p>I'm taking Math 16B with Professor Silver this upcoming fall semester, but I haven't been hearing very good things about the class. Seems like 30% receive some form of an A. Anybody take this class with him before and have any advice to do well in the class? I heard most people don't even bother going to lecture. It's been a year since I took Math 1A, so I'm rusty. If I'm aiming for an A, what things should I do?</p>

<p>Silver? …if he is who I think he is, he was a terrible teacher in my opinion. Often, he would wander off in the middle of problems and say: “This is so simple minded, it’s not worth our time…” while more than half the class (who still showed up) looked baffled and confused. AVOID!!!</p>

<p>Easiest class ever. So easy that you could get an A with eyes closed.</p>
