<p>I got a 770 too, but I never got that high on practice tests. I was planning on retaking it, but there’s the risk of getting lower, plus you’d be better off spending your time doing something else. </p>
<p>So my answer is, don’t retake.</p>
<p>I don’t know what colleges you’re shooting for, but I know someone who got into Cornell with a 740 Math 2. I got a 790 and I’m not retaking. I’d say anything 750+ is good enough to not retake unless you really want to or you are taking one or two other tests in another sitting and you think you can do better.</p>
