<p>I took the Math 2 last October, and my score(680) was disappointing. I'm planning to take it again on December. Any suggestions on how I can improve my score? Aiming of at least 750 by the way.</p>
<p>The biggest hurdle for this test is speed. Per the information given on the CollegeBoard website, you have 60 minutes to answer 50 questions, or 1 minute 12 seconds per question on average. Based on that, you should focus on repetition to improve your score. Recognizing exactly how to solve the types of problems on the test almost instantly is going to be invaluable. You can’t hesitate or second guess yourself for more than a few seconds, otherwise you might run out of time. </p>
<p>What I’d do to prepare:</p>

<li><p>Take practice tests while timing yourself.</p></li>
<li><p>Use sites like Einstumped (<a href=“https://www.einstumped.com%5B/url%5D”>https://www.einstumped.com</a>) to provide yourself with extra incentive to practice.</p></li>
<li><p>Find sections of math books (in the library or online) on topics you struggle with and practice them until you’re able to recognize as many problem types as possible. This will improve your time between reading the problem and getting an answer.</p></li>

<p>One potential way to speed yourself up to is to practice skipping to the end of a question. Most of the time, that’s where you’ll actually be told what answer the problem wants. From there, you can work backward and grab information as necessary. It also helps eliminate any information provided that isn’t necessary from confusing you.</p>
