Math 2 Kaplan study guide

Has anyone used Kaplan? If so, how is the practice exam compare to the actual? DS has been getting high 600-mid 700 on Barron.

Don’t use anything Kaplan. Just plain garbage.

Wow is Kaplan really that bad? I should go buy Princeton Review then…

Why do you need another study guide? Run out of practice tests?
Barrons is the best study guide for just about anything math related.

Yes. He is done with Barron and CB but still not quite feeling confident about it. He just borrowed a copy of Kaplan from the library.

Just go though the Barrons and CB again.
Kaplan can screw you up… Easier tests, etc. Barron has harder tests but the study guide portion is always good.

Yeah, Kaplan is really easy.

I don’t really like Kaplan sources either – the only Kaplan materials I used were practice AP calculus tests that my teacher gave our class, and they were full of errors. If you use Kaplan or other prep materials, use them cautiously.

Barrons is much harder than any of the other prep books I’ve seen, and Princeton Review is too easy. For reference, I got an 800 on a practice test in PR and a 680-710 in Barrons.

My teacher says Barrons is MUCH harder than the actual test, but is only good prep if you’re aiming for an 800, otherwise it’ll just drive you nuts and make you feel discouraged.

For Math 2, would you recommend Kaplan Practice Tests or the McGraw-Hill 9 practice Tests Book?

Of the two, whichiver one is better, how accurate is that to what the test will be like?

Reading through May’s math 2 thread, most people used Barron. I haven’t heard much about MH.

is Mcgraw Hill generally known for being pretty accurate if not more difficult? or is it known as being easier
