Math 2 or Math 1?

Let me start off by saying i want to major in engineering. I'm a senior and have always been okay at math. I'm taking ap calc ab and have an A in it right now.

I've already taken the Math 2 test, in october. I got a 690 and realize its not too good of a score at all. Its the big blemish on my transcript as of now. Before i took the test, all my practice test results were in the 600's - constantly. So im really not sure if i can improve by December when i plan to take it again.

So, in December, should i take the math 1 instead? What will colleges think? Is it easier? Any practice exams that you know of?

Thanks

If you are going in to engineering Math 2 is a must. Study and raise your score to an 800. Trust me with a little bit of studying and 800 shouldn't be that far in sight.

Collegeboard says to take Math 2 if you have a "B" or better in precalc, which you probably did.

I think if you study Barron's, you'll get that score wayyyy up. Trust me on this!
