Math 2.. which book?

<p>hi, title says all. Which book is the best for Math 2 SAT 2? Currently, im a junior, taking IB MATH SL, therefore we are behind precalc and havnet really started it yet. I plan on taking Math 2 around january. Any suggestions?</p>

<p>Then get RUSH for practice tests. REA is also pretty decent as well. Finally, get the BB for 2 practice testts from collegeboard.</p>

<p>Quite honestly, if you haven't taken precalc and trig, it's not a good idea to take this test.</p>

<p>But if you really want to, I've heard Barron's is good. I would also get the CB practice test book.</p>

<p>Barron's the best. If you're really desperate, study Princeton review, too if you have enough time.</p>

<p>Some things Barron's misses out on so you might want to get another prep book to cover said topics (e.g. demoivre's theorem)</p>

<p>I thought Barron's was great for Math II (not really for a couple of other subject test though).
If you're able to get about 3/4 right on a Barron's practice test, you're almost guaranteed an 800.</p>

<p>Barron's if you want to really lower your self-esteem but still get an 800 lol.</p>

<p>The questions on Barron's are made purposely harder than the actual, but I found it can be really frustrating trying to work through them.</p>

<p>Princeton Review is also pretty good. I like its format and light tone. Makes it easier to study.</p>

<p>Kaplan and SparkNotes suck. Kaplan just sucks all the way, and SparkNotes just sucks with their practice tests.</p>

<p>Barrons has a great review section and hard practice tests but it really prepares you!
It does lower your self-esteem but it gets you ready for anything.
your actual score will probably/most likely be higher.</p>

<p>And do the practice problems from the SAT II collegeboard subject test book. </p>

<p>You might want to wait until you're done with trig? Just a suggestion. It has quite a few trig problems.</p>

<p>I heard Princeton's practice problems were a lot more similar to the real test though. Barron's review section is really good though.</p>
