It's been a year since I've taken calculus, so I've forgotten a lot (well I'll do a bit of review). Is it time-consuming to take on the homework and absorb the material? I suppose it also depends on the professor...

Right now, my schedule is Math 20C & Warren Writing 10A, and writing isn't one of my strengths either. I'm debating whether to add one or two more classes- my gut tells me to take 4 total, but I'm not sure if I can handle it.

(Please excuse me for asking so many questions lately on this board :P)

why don’t you just sign up for 4 classes and drop one if the workload becomes too much?

as for math, just check out an AP calculus BC textbook from the library and work on it for the next month. it’ll have everything you need to transition into 20C.

Simply because planning 3 classes is more flexible than 4, and the last two classes I wanted have long lab sessions. With 3 classes, I can make a better schedule. My math is pretty good, but horrible in an ap calculus class (lol), because of too much other homework and activities that year, so this time around I’m trying to put more balance in my life.

Also just wanted to know how bad this class was in general.

it really depends on the professor. i’ve had friends who thought it was hell, and i personally had a professor who gave us the simplest exams, let us use whatever calculators, and was generally all-around entertaining. (and those friends weren’t less knowledgeable or anything - we had come out of the same 20B class and all got As)
