At the online bookstore, it lists 4 items to get for Math 2A. The books are:

PKG-CALCULUS FULL E-BOOK/SOL MAN/MATHZONE
SMITH

PKG-CALCULUS FULL TEXT/SOL MAN/MATHZONE
SMITH

PKG-SINGLE VAR CALC FOR MATH 2A & 2B ONLY/SOL MAN/MATHZONE
SMITH

PKG-SINGLE VARIABLE E-BOOK CALC/SOLUTIONS MAN/MATHZONE
SMITH

At the top, it says, "CHOOSE ONE ONLY!! BUY FULL CALC PKG IF GOING PAST." It looks like there's two books, each with a physical and digital copy? I'm not sure which to get. Thanks.

I ordered the 2nd one.

PKG-CALCULUS FULL TEXT/SOL MAN/MATHZONE
SMITH

i've been told the following: the e-book and textbook are the same. textbook is recommended if you get easily distracted on the computer. (plus you can re-sell it.) as for the two textbooks, the full text is if you want to go past math 2b

if u are taking math past 2A and 2B then get the full package, if not, get the 2A 2B pack

the full pack is a thicker book for use in 2A 2B and 2D

ebook is just a computer file, probably a PDF, i advise you just find that on google rather than throwing down $100 for it

Thanks for the replies. I've got another question.

Do the classes really use Mathzone or any other interactive software that comes with other books?

ARGH books are sooo expensive. Depending on your major its up to you which book you want. I will be getting the full text.

My friend took math 2B for summer session and I did not hear him mention anything about mathzone. I guess it will depend on your teacher.

mathzone will help u wit example probs, but i don't think its required. sometimes you can find it free through a google link

other classes like physics DO use the packaged web assistanced, webassign.
