Math 2C....myth??

Hey all! I am taking some SATIIs in may and i need some advice. I am looking to applying to schools such as Brown, Penn, and Tufts. All of these schools require 2 SATIIs. However, I was adivsed to take 3 SATIIs this May, and as of now I am taking Bio (im in AP Bio), US History (im in AP USH) and Math IIC. It would be very convenient if I only had to take the Bio and USH since I would be studying for them alreayd b/c of the APs. So i was thinking....why not cut out the Math IIC? Many people have told me that many schools like to see the Math IIC (I am not going to become an engineer or mathematician or anything- ill prob. major in policital science or history or something). I have called up all of those schools adn every single school has said that for liberal arts, they will accept ANY combination of SATIIs. Even so, I am being told by my peers and advisors that it would be very good to take the Math IIC. Any advice from people who have had some experience? Is it really necessary to take hte Math IIC?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Unless you're applying to Penn's Wharton program, I don't think having another SAT test instead of Math will have any great effect on your admissions decision. It definitely won't affect your acceptance to Tufts, Brown, or Penn A&S. Especially not if you indicate an interest in studying history or political science.

If you're good at math, take it. If it gives you trouble, then skip it. If you're stress about math, you're likely to do worse on the other ones. So take it easy, just dont take it too easy lol.
