I'm taking the math 2 c test next fall and aiming for an 800. I've already taken Precalc. What's the best prep book?

Princeton Review and *15 Realistic Tests for the SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test/i worked for me. Keep in mind that the practice tests in the second book are really not realistic at all--they're much harder than the real thing. I still found it really useful simply because it has so many practice tests.

i suggest u first do all of kaplan and princeton -- sparknotes (altho its easier than the real thing) if u ve got time. Barrons and 15 realistic tests dont work for everyone.

what's the best SINGLE book for the math 2 lol? I don't feel like keeping a library of so many books, especially for subject tests. Or are combos absolutely necessary?

I used Barron's for a month and got 800. I suggest you get it because the tests in there are harder than the actual test. If you challenge yourself with Barron's, the real test will be an absolute breeze.

i tried using barron's and i didn't understand a lot of the material, it's just so dense! and it took me forever to read. they also seem to have a lot of unnecessary equations. anyone else feel the same way?

I used Barron's the first time. Got a 720. lol, I didn't pay attention to the book.

Second time around, took Barron's test again, and bought the new CB IC and IIC book, and got an 800. I didn't read any of the review portions of Barron's or CB. Just took practice tests over and over.

I'd go with Barron's. CB probably just to see what the test is like realistically.

how many practice tests are in the CB book for math 2?

just do kaplan and princeton. if ur not a math person, forget barrons.
