<p>Hello, i am currently enrolled in math 31a. I am a life science major but math 3a was full so i put my self on the waitlist for that class and enrolled in math 31a so i could start the math series.
My question is if i do math 31a fall quarter, can i take 3b winter quarter? or do i have to finish the 31 series for math?</p>

<p>They aren’t the same, so you’ll have to continue with whichever series you start, or being at the bottom of the other series.</p>
<p>I don’t think you can switch between series’s (*** is the plural form?) like that. I’m a neurosci major and I’m pretty sure my counselor said I can only do 3 to fulfill my requirements. </p>

<p>they are all independent…you can take whatever as long as it satisfies your major reqs.</p>
