when i started buying my books 2 weeks ago, the book listed for rogawski was the Single Variable Calc book. now, it says Multivariable Calc. Am I just imagining all this, or did the book really change? now i think i hae a useless copy of the single variable book....

Who is your professor?

WOW YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. Silly101, you are right. A few weeks ago I asked everyone on this forum why UCLA listed a single variable calculus book for a multivariate calculus class, but noone seemed to notice. Goddammit I hope I can still cancel my order, the UCLA bookstore is dumb.

P.S. This book is for Rogawski's class

yeahhh. dammit
i just got my book today...from amazon too. so i dont know what to do with it

How much did you buy it for? You can

1) return it if the policy allows
2) sell it to someone in 31A (you might make a profit)
3) keep it for reference

yeah i just owned myself as well. ugh this is pretty lame

ouch that sucks guys =[

do they do this often-change the books?

I'm pretty sure this is just some dumb mistake by the UCLA bookstore. I doubt Math32a would ever use a single variable calc book.

so is there a likely chance that other books will still change? im about to order my philosophy books, but im hesitating because i dont want to order them and have them be changed again. should i just go ahead? or wait another week or two

another question.
is this book listed for 31A? i dont know how to find out through the ucla store. i would rather just sell it to someone than return it through amazon

Yes, he book is used for 31A. It was just an unfortunate error; your philosophy books should not change.
