Math 32A textbook

Hi guys, on the UCLA textbook store, the required textbook for Math 32A is "Stewart
Multivariable Calculus (6th) W Sg". Does anyone know what the "W Sg" means? I found the book itself (6E) on amazon without the study guide for 123$, which is cheaper. If anyone has gotten their textbook from the UCLA textbook store, does the textbook come with a study guide, if thats what the "w sg" means? If it does come with the studyguide, then the textbookstore will be significantly less expensive than the one on amazon.

Also, do you guys think the study guide is necessary for the class? By the way, i'll be taking math32a with moschovakis next quarter.

thanks.

I think you answered your own question… “w sg” means with study guide…

you answered yourself

OP, we’re sharing the same lecture :D.

The textbook is not worth $123, check out half.com. Also, the study guide isn’t needed so don’t buy it.

if youre done with math after 32a, then just borrow the book from a friend that took it already. 32a encompasses only 3 chapters in the textbook.
