math 53 textbook

<p>I was told that the for math 53, I would be able to use the textbook i used to math1b, calculus: early transcendentals by stewart. Is this true? Because the textbook requires for math53 is multivariable calculus: early transcendentals by stewart.</p>

<p>er no. while it is the same book, the greedy book publishers or whomever cut out the chapters in the book and separated them lol. so yeah, you have to buy a “different” book for math 53.</p>

<p>If that is the case, at least each piece is not as heavy as it would be if 1A/1B/53 were all in one book. See the thread about people complaining about carrying heavy books around…</p>
