<p>Should I take Math 53 next semester with Sethian? I heard he is really hard and does not give out many A's. Would taking it over the summer be easier? Does anyone know how difficult math 53 over the summer is? </p>

<p>Also, Math 53 has no more open sections. does anyone know if theyre going to open up more? If I'm currently enrolled in math 1b (which is full now) and im not sure if i want to change to math 53. would i still get into math 53 if i wait until phase 2 to sign up?</p>

<p>And the reason I'm taking Math 53 is to fulfill the prereq for Econ 101A. Would i still be able to take Econ 101A if i took Math 53 P/NP</p>

<p>Math 1B is hard as a *****... Try to avoid it if you can. 53 is allegedly much easier. Also, I hear summer sessions are easier than regular because GSIs teach the class.</p>
