Math and difficulty of BB

Are the last few tests in BB2 easier than the previous ones? (6,7,8,9,10) The reason i am asking is because i am suddenly doing well in math and english..(about 100 pt increase all of a sudden. also for cr i am getting a significant amount of questions less wrong)....

also this is from a math section.

h(t)=c-(d-4t)^2

At time t=0, a ball was thrown upward from an initial height of 6 feet. Until the ball hit the ground, its height, in feet, after t seconds was given by the function h above, in which c and d are positive constants. If the ball reached its maximum height of 106 feet at time t=2.5, waht was the height, in feet, of the ball at time t=1?

Answer: 70

I was able to get 70 but i added 6 to it to get 76. I thought i had to to add 6 b/c at t=1, the height was 70 but it started at the initial height of 6. Doesn't that mean the ball was thrown up while the guy was 6 feet above the ground so i have to add 6 to 70?

From looking at the equation, we can infer that c = 106
Using the initial height we can solve for d, which equals 10.

Plug in 1=> h(1) = 106 - (10 - 4)^2
h(1) = 106 - 36
h(1) = 70 feet.
edit: typed 26 instead of 36.

wat is the 6ft used for?

6 = 106 - (d - 4(0))^2
6 = 106 - (d)^2
-100 = -(d)^2
100 = d^2
d = 10

hope this helps. 6 feet is the height when t = 0

mm ok thank you. i just get mixed with the whole 6 feet thing so yeah. =)
