Math and Economics Double Major, which college?

Hello my name is Sammy and I want to know which college should I go to? I am a sophomore in high school (the high school is ranked 22nd in New York), and have a 3.6 GPA unweighted and will have taken 8 AP courses before I graduate: AP American History, AP Music Theory, AP Physics, AP Statistics, BC Calculus, AP French, AP Earth Science and AP Psychology. My school doesn't have any classes that have honors in the name, so I don't know how many honors class I have taken. I will have taken 3 advanced French classes, 4 enriched math classes, and chemistry A rather than chemistry B. I estimate based off of online practice exams that I should get anywhere from between a 29-32 on the ACT (this is only an estimation). I am on the football team, the wrestling team, have work experience, have done volunteer work, I am in the orchestra at my school and I play many instruments out side of school. Mathematics has always been my passion and I love economics. I want to double major in the two of them, and I was wondering what schools would be right for me? Also what are my chance of getting into any of the following: NYU, University of Chicago, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, UC Berkeley and schools of this nature?
P.S. I have dual citizenship from the Netherlands and the United States. I was wondering if that helps at all.

A 29 to 32 ACT is a sizable range.

3.6 GPA is not that high and you’re not a guaranteed “match” to any of those schools except maybe NYU. I’d plan some backups. -.-

Also, you may be interested in a Math/Economics major at certain universities where its offered instead of a Math and Economics double major.

The University of Chicago has a pretty chill Mathematics with Specialization in Economics Major [http://www.math.uchicago.edu/undergrad/concentration.html#econ][/url], although it might be a bit of a reach for you, given your GPA and/or ACT.

Dual citizenship won’t help you. Grades, ECs and scores will help you. You can take Math and Econ at just about every college. What can your family afford?

Money isn’t really an issue, I’m just looking for the best education possible. Any great math/econ schools that I can get into I would be most happy to attend them.

Your best match is probably something like Colgate or Hamilton.

Your best chance with a 29-30 would be Michigan, which would put you at 50k/year.
NYU would also throw you at 50k.
Have you considered Wisconsin? It’d cost you about 35k, and has a phenomenal program as does UNC-Chapel Hill.

Second UW. They just beefed up the econ dept with 4 senior hires from Penn, Michigan, Texas, and PSU. Math has always been excellent. Your stats are a better match too.
