Which schools get the best reviews for math and econ? I have heard that Princeton and Williams have strong math departments but what differentiated their departments from the ones at Yale and Penn?

Princeton, MIT and UChicago probably have the best Math and Econ departments.

Also NYU will get you where you want to go... Stern school of business (near Wall Street) and the Courant Institute of Mathematics

That is Business and mathematics thoough, which is a whole other thing.

Penn has one of the top econ departments and a good mathematics department. It also has the best undergrad business school if you want to do business/econ.

No, NYU Stern also offers fantastic economics and math, separate from CAS.

oh, I thought Math and Economics was a double major.

Oh, well it might be...I'm not 100%. I was more responding to snipanlol, who said Stern's Econ and Math is "business and math," which it is not. Stern has its own math and econ departments, or at least courses exclusive to it.
