Math Answers!!!

8.5 confirmed, but evil, we should have gotten the same test. How come I'm not recognizing "1. At what value of h is (x-h)^2+8 symmetric to x=14.
2. How many positive divisors of (p^2*r^2)^2 exist including the number and 1." <----all of that

Dude Genesis, my suspicions are confirmed because I think that those problems that you don't recognize are part of the experimental section on my SAT. No wonder these problems haven't been mentioned...HOLLA BACK.:)

Anyway folks, there were two DIFFERENT SAT tests today EXCEPT for the fact that all the versions today had the math section with 80/3 and 8.5 for the parabola.

TEST#1
*Asian sightings, bioluminescence, poetry and translation, and dude who only lieks specialized knowledge
*one math section with root(2)-1 as the answer for 5 circles in a square and a math section with 4 integer values as the answer to a given function which you want to produce a nonnegative number
*everyone had same 35 question writing section unless they had extra one for experimental

TEST#2
*machines/technology,Zingangwe,NAACP lawyer,Coleridge,etc.
*math section with two equilateral triangles and one with the infamous chairs question
*everyone had same 35 minute writing question unless they ahd extra one for experimental

How did you figure out that number line one that was like

ABCDE

BC=?

Wasn't c for the pail one about overlapping area or something?

^actually, mine was:
zingangwe, shakespeare, art critics, etc..
math: the 80/3 grid in, the five circle one, the chair problem, and the I. a>0, II. b>0, III. a>b

I didn't have either problem.

There goes my thesis...I guess no one truly knows the mysterious inner workings of Collegeboard.

So far: 1 maybe 2 wrong, 1 skipped.

What would that equate to?

Sorry asian, I didn't have any of those questions either.

theblumuffin, 740

Wow. This makes me feel better. Maybe I didn't completely suck up the math. The only thing I've seen so far is that I maybe made a stupid mistake on the pentagon garden question.

anyone know the abcde one? I think I said it couldn't be determined, but maybe I was reading it wrong?

What about the ethnic foods one? Italian, Mexican, etc..., with over 100% people or something? Did only I. work?

I know I had over 100% I'm not sure about the others though.

3 wrong is a 740?

I know I had over 100%, I thought I put down another one too. Not sure though.

Did anybody get (E)-cannot be determined for a math question about probability?

I got that for the majority cookie problem.

Yeah that's it. It seemed so obvious that after the test I second-guessed and though I had misread something because that answer is rarely right. Thanks, genesis.

AM I THE ONLY ONE- who had a math experimental for the luminescent fish test? I had 2 math 20 question sections. One was extremely hard, and the last two questions involved an inequality and finding an average if you took some number away or something. Anyways, i left the last three questions blank, as I ran out of time. Heres hoping it was experimental.
