This is my first post.</p>
<p>I am a junior in high school and have become interested in Fordham University, but, of course, im still looking at colleges. I am not quite sure what i want to do but i was wondering if anyone knew if fordham was a good school for math.</p>

<p>It’s good for business related finance (Gabelli school of business, formerly CBA), but if you’re looking for MIT-type math that’s not really Fordham’s forte.</p>

<p>My bro is actually a math/computer science double major at Fordham LC (senior) and he likes it. The faculty is pretty well-respected. Also, they have a 3-2 program with Columbia’s engineering school, if you are interested. There are definitely schools with better Math programs than Fordham’s (NYU for example), but I would say Fordham is respectable; you’ll get a well-versed education. I graduated in 08 from Fordham with a degree in accounting; I can tell you for a fact that their business school is pretty good.</p>
