Math classes, what to Phase I/Phase II?

Hey all, I'm gonna sign up for the following schedule:

(Units) Course name (# of seats)

(4) Math 104 (36 w/Hald)
(4) Math 110 (250)
(4) Math 128a (130)
(3) Stat 133 (75)
(3) Stat 134 (100)

I assume you'd want to phase I the classes with the lowest amount of seats available. Math 110 could easily be Phase II'd (would put me in a quandry for section enrollment though but always room in the 8AM one haha..)

Does anyone know about demand for stat 133,134, and math 128a? how quickly do they fill up? My TB phase 1 is on the 16th. Contingency plan in case I don't get one is to take Math 113 with Talaska (36 seats)

134 demand is super high. phase 1 it.
aside from that, probably try to phase 1 104 (36 seats is really tight, plus hald is VERY a popular professor, perhaps the math department’s best in terms of teaching ability and likability) or 110 (for the section issue)

but idk. what math background do you have under you belt to justify 18 units of this stuff? especially with 104 (a HUGE black hole for time.)

either way, good luck

Thanks for the advice. Well, way back when, I qual’d for USAMO twice if that counts for anything, I’m pretty familiar with proof-based problem solving and I enjoy it too, I don’t really party so much, just have my girlfriend, class work, religious services, music as my main diversions, so I think I can pull it off. Anyways thanks again for the advice.
