Math Club

I was just wondering what you guys do in the Math Club.
Do you guys just solve problems that the teacher gives out?
Are there positions like President or Vice president???
What does president do in the Math Club? Do they teach younger students?
How often do you guys meet?

At our school, math club is really math team and we compete in statewide math competitions.

Usually we are given practice tests used to prepare for the NSML competitions or the big state competitions. We hold tryouts within the team to see who will be on the state team and who will represent us during NSML.

We do have a president and vice president. The vice president doesn't do anything but the president is the one who give speeches about team related activities or misconduct before every meeting. He/she does not teach younger students

We usually meet every Tuesday, so once a week. This became twice a week in the months before the State competition.

Hope that helps! =)

Oh~ I get it now
Thanks IlDesi
So there's a specific teacher who teaches the team members?

my school's math club does tons of competitions too, and we tutor underclassmen a few times a week.

bump 10 char 10 char

Basically we split off between the classes and review for a little bit then take tests.
