<p>Hm, all my professors are up, and I’m kinda so-so with them. My math professor for math 2D (Wan, D.) is pretty bad, I was hoping for a good teacher, because I only do well in math classes with good teachers…
I hope I won’t have to self-teach my self Multi-Variable Calculus, the class name itself sounds demeaning.</p>

<p>I don’t know if anyone can confirm, but sometimes they lift that restriction earlier than the 18th, and it isn’t announced via e-mail or anything.</p>

<p>i’m currently signed up for Cai for math 2b. no reviews for that professor on ratemyprofessor. i’m going to try for Chrystal. I had him for math 2a, and some people may not like his style of teaching, but for someone like me who hates math and sucks in it, he’s awesome. currently it’s open to “new only.” that restriction lifts september 18th also right?</p>

<p>watcollege: some don’t like chrystal because he teaches really slow and his examples are too simple or whatever. but like i said earlier, i’m pretty horrible in math so that pace is good for me. i also enjoy his class because it’s a small class environment. for problems/examples he does in class, he’ll always be like “talk to your neighbors, show them your answer, see if you guys agree! what’s the answer everybody?” i don’t know, but i prefer that vs. sitting in a huge lecture hall and just constantly running down notes. plus, he’s funny. it really depends on the person and how they like to learn, but in math 2a i met people who had them for previous classes and we’re all trying to get him again this fall haha.</p>

<p>i heard pantano, out of the current 2b professors, is the best to have.
according to my friends at uci, she takes a lot of her own time to help students and such.
