This is my first, post, but I'm a long time...stalker (sounds sketchy, but not like that!)? Well, reader anyway, so I'm pretty sure this forum is where this thread should be posted.

Anyway, I'm an above average math student (not a genius) and I was wondering which would be more impressive to the ivies.

My history:for reference
8th-Algebra I 92
9th- Geometry 88
10- Algebra II 91 (from this point on, I started to struggle)
11- Trig 86

I got a 690 on my math SAT (-5) and here are my options for courses:

Calculus I- (probably an A)
AP Calculus - (Probably a B/C)
AP Stats- (Probably an A)

Also, should I take Math I or Math II, SAT subject test?

As a rule, calculus is a more solid AP course. Calculus as a subject is quite foundational to most things you’ll do in the future. Ivies, however, aren’t so concerned with exactly what you do, as long as you generally have a challenging schedule, and make a case as to what you’d bring to their class that they’d want. They are selective – that means they choose what they want, and whoever they believe will fit in.

In short, choose the course that you think will enrich you more. Don’t just pick based on easiness or hardness.

I’d say to take the Math II. The Math I seems like it covers more SAT I style mathematics, and the II actually allows for you to make more errors by far and get a full score or a good score. The I is harsher on grading, while having more elementary topics, but the II topics are straightforward enough that you just have to study a little and you’ll be fine.
