math courses before engineering??

hi
what math courses should I take before starting EE classes??
I bought the pre-calculus for dummies book, is it a good choice?? or not??

I will have 5 months before I start my classes so I think it's quite enough period to repair any weakness points I have,don't you think??

should I take physics classes as well as the math??

best;

The typical EE curriculum has math starting at calculus, followed by multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations (some students who have had calculus in high school start in a more advanced math course than first semester calculus). Calculus-based physics courses typically start concurrently with second semester calculus. Prerequisites before starting would be readiness for calculus (i.e. completion of precalculus math including trigonometry) and high school level physics.

Introductory CS courses are often taken alongside, while introductory EE courses in electronics and signals may be taken in the second year after the student has sufficient math background.
