which math courses are required/suggested for med school? i know that i have to take analytic geometry and calculus I and statistics, but should i take analytic geometry and calculus II or anything else?

Ask your premed advisor.

No one cares about geometry, except the amount you need to take calculus. Many schools do not require statistics, although a non-mathematical stat course is certainly useful for a doctor.

Most schools state their requirement as a "year" of calculus, or as a "semester". If calc II at your college is multivariable, then you do not need it at all. However, many med schools require you to take some or all of the requirements IN COLLEGE. So if you took calculus in high school, you might still need to take more in college.

Premed advisor is the source of the answers specific to your college.
