<p>How is Math 104X compared to 107? The professor for
104X will be Santoro Bianca, while 107 has several options.</p>
<p>Do you do proofs in 107? I am a potential physics major,
with some interest in math. I wanted to take 104 but it didn't fit my
schedule. I am thinking that 104X may be too abstract and be
an unnecessary stress. But I am worried that 107 may be too
application-based.</p>

<p>107 is mostly applications but has shifted i feel towards more proofs in recent semesters, but its still mostly application based. overall its not too hard.</p>
<p>104x would be significantly harder, very abstract, and filled with math majors which means the curve wouldnt be too generous.</p>
<p>I think 104X also doesn't cover as much material as 107 in terms of diff eqs (maybe not at all). For 107 that's about half the course.</p>
