Math Curve?

Anyone have an guess of what the math curve will look like, based on prior tests?

Can anyone guess what three MC & two grid-ins wrong would be? Thanks.

I would guess low 700s.
In Jan, I got omit 1, -2 --> 740.
Hopefully this time curve will be more generous cos Jan math was NOTHING compared to June's.

in march, i got a 710 with 2 omit, 2 wrong...it was crazy

OMG. was March math harder than June's?

how much do u thikn I'll get with 7 wrong (2 of them being grid in)?

I think -3 on math will be 740-760, probably 750. It was definetely one of the harder tests for math that they have ever given, if not the hardest (maybe not). I am pretty sure the curve will be decent for math, -3 = 750 im hoping and -5 = 700. Who knows, though >.<

^WantIvy, how many other real sats having you taken (not released ones) that qualify you for saying that it is a really hard math test?

tommy, that might be like a 670 or 680

In May -2 meant 750. Not to let your hopes down people, but hoping to get 700 with 5 mistakes (-6 raw score) is kind of unrealistic

well. -5 raw score in march was 690. and March was a good 5x easier than june.

if there isn't a better curve then CB screwed up.

Well, I took the March SAT I and I got -1 for a 770. The June SAT was about 3-4 times harder so I would assume it would be better. I also looked at the January SAT curve and the june was probably harder so I am hoping that this test will be one of the few that will have the following curve:

54 - 800
53 - 800
52 - 780
51 - 760
50 - 730
...

I believe only one other SAT had a math have -1 be 800, so hopefully the June will the second one.

54- 800
53- 790
52- 760
51- 740
50- 730

EDIT: It can be more lenient but that is highly unlikely.

^Yes it can, but it is highly unlikely. There was one QAS that had a -1 be a 800, so you never know....

do you think i can hit the 700 with 3 wrong and 6 omit??

^i don't think so. I got 4 wrong on the dec test and ended up with a 710

generous math curve PLEASE

Dude, no, that's -10 raw score. In May I got 3 wrong, 1 omit and got a 710 but that was an easier math section. I'd expect the curve to be a LITTLE easier so that 3 wrong, 1 omit might be a 730-740 at best.

well hopefully thats at least a 650 or higher

I only omitted 2. But i had 4 math sections. So one was experimental. So i jjust hope i got above a 680.
I would be alright with that. If it goes below i wil be upset. But compared to all of the practice tests i did. Like 11 or something. This math was way harder than any of the other ones.

When you guys say -3 might be mid-700s or whatever, how does that include grid-ins, since getting them wrong doesn't really hurt your score, isn't it the same as just leaving a question blank?
