Math (December SAT 1)

hipster what else were the grid in questions??

yeah for the tournament one i got what voodoo santa got - i almost put 15 and then i checked again and erased because they played each other twice

reeya 91, i didnt see any not enough informations an did id all the blue book tests. But teh princeton review sat class said so. yeah i got 1/4 for the perimeter it was 1/2

1/3 was each side for teh big triangle

1/6 is the sides of the little one

1/12 is the sides of the smallest one, so 1/12 + 1/12+1/12=1/4

No, it said each person had 2 matches; not each person had to play each other twice.

1636… was that the one with 27 players and what was the max they could all score?

im pretty sure i got 8. one of the things was equal to 4 and one was equal to 2. and it could be factored into those two things.

yes stephenn

^ had 2 matches? what does that mean isnt it the same as playing each other twice?..could anyone confirm what they got on the tournament one?

this is so weird

i don’t recognize like any questions you guys r discussing.

choklit rain, one of the things was equal to -4.

(if we’re talking about the same question)

I got 1/4 for the triangle in a triangle one.

Did anyone get 50 for the adults who left the room so a child is 2% of the population?

^Yeah, I got 50.

hispter yeah it was 50 adults left teh room

yeah it was 50

i got 1/4 for the triangle one as well.

i might be wrong, but I do remember the question saying that they each played each other twice…or had two matches against each other or something like that; I got 15, and then multiplied it by 2 because if they each played each other once, it would be 15…but playing each other twice = 30; on the other hand, if they each played two matches against each other, it’s the same thing 15 * 2 = 30

ahhh i omitted that one hipster, i was running out of time…

ariger, yea i did
i got 4000 for the first grid in, and 8 for the last one

Crap, if that’s the case then there goes my 800 in math.

i got 4000 for the first one too.

How about the one about the how many letters n can be arranged from left to right so there is exactly 6 combinations?

I got 3.
