<p>so i plan on majoring in applied math (w/ an option in economics), i was wondering if anyone knew what kind of jobs were available after undergrad? i know being an actuary is one of them. what other top paying jobs are there?</p>

<p>Not a clue, but my good friend is majoring in Mathematics with a Specialization in Economics. It's pure math, though, instead of applied. Of course, the school we attend has the best econ department in the country and one of the best math departments, so I am sure he will be making money in the future. To me, it seems a major that shows employers that one knows how to think.</p>
