hi if i take math and english test in a community college, do i have to take the one in santa cruz???

It says so in the letter they sent you... maybe you should read over it one more time

I'm pretty sure the prerequisite is precal. If you have passed the precalculus AP exam/take precal at a ccc, then you do not have to take the placement test. Any other math courses do not count.

let me note that if you have passed one of the english AP exams/received 680 or so on the SAT reading, I believe, then you do not have to take the english placement exam. However, I'm not sure about ccc classes.

umm well before u can take certain math classes, dont u have to meet certain requirments?? Is placement test in ccc transferrable to santa cruz?

What if I pass my Calc BC AP test this year, do I still have to take the math exam?

"You are exempt from taking the placement exam if:

* You have passed the AP calculus AB or BC exam with at least a score of 3, or passed the IB Maths HL exam with a score of at least 5. (You must verify your score with your major department.)
* You have passed a precalculus course at an accredited two or four year college or university. (See the transfer credit information on the Mathematics web site.) Note: You must verify course completion with the mathematics office staff."

I took precalc and passed in highschool. Do i still need to take this? I got sent an email about mathematics placement exam.

You are only exempt from the test if you passed the AP calc exam, or took a precalc course at a community college. Otherwise, you need to take the placement test.

the locations are too far from me (southern california like pasadena), where do i check the option to take it during summer orientation.?
