Math for Engineering

Will a lower math SAT I score hurt me more than a high Math IIC score + college level math course?
I only missed 3 on the SAT Math and got a 730, which I know is not a bad score, but it is not particularly a high score for Engineering.
On Math IIC rather, I'm expecting an 800.
I'm going to try to retake SATs again in the fall, should I bother to improve my math?

I got a 730 in SAT I math, a Math IIC score of 800 and was admitted to engineering so don't worry about your SAT I score.

^ That's good to know.
Thanks!

You can't really isolate your SATs like that and attribute admissions to it. You don't know the rest of the application or the strength of a person's essays. Apply and you'll find out. But if you can, retake your SAT I, that is a fairly average score for Engineering barring legacy status or genius inventions.

Thanks for the input!
Yes, i know the other parts of my application are equally important, but SAT's are part of the admissions process.
