Is this the easiest math class available? I'm going to be an English major and I want to keep a high GPA and eventually go onto law school. But, I'm awful at math and if I took something like college algebra, the best grade I could get would be around a B-.

Math for Liberal Arts? Never heard of it. It MUST be easy, I guess...

How can you possibly know you wouldn't be able to do any better than that?

It's probably the equivalent of "College Algebra" or "Finite Math" that other schools have. This is pretty much required unless you take something higher. Think Algebra II from high school in terms of material/difficulty.

to me the course sounds like it will explore lots of things that arent usually covered in high school curriculums with the intent of allowing humanities majors to develop an 'appreciation' for mathematics. id expect a basic exploration of non-euclidian geometries, mathematical paradoxes, mathematical history, connections between mathematics and art, fractals, et cetera.

as for how difficult it may be at your school, i have no clue.
