I’m going to apply to college next year and I’m looking at T10 Business Schools like Harvard, MIT, Wharton, Yale, and Stern. Unfortunately, my math grades aren’t great. For context I got an A- and B+ in Calc BC (sophomore year), 4 on the BC test, 5 AB subscore, a 760 Math 2 (retaking for the 800 hopefully), a 34 ACT Math (my lowest score but retaking for the 36) but other than that I’ve had all A’s in math, 3.95UW, 4.6W, 35 ACT, 800 USH. Additionally, I plan to take Calc 3 Dual Enrollment. However, I have really good Business ECs and a strong app apart from math.
I’ve heard many business programs value Calc a lot and I’m just disappointed I didn’t do as well as I thought I could in the class. Do I have a chance at these selective business schools? Additionally, how can I make up for these math grades.
