math help

<p>someone told me that they dont give you any formulas for the act math. is that true. are there any you should make sure to know before. would the distance between two points on a coordinate-plane be there (cause i forget it a lot)...</p>

<p>yea that would be there, i think for li ke cylinders and stuff they give it in the prolem sometimes. if u have a ti calc. go to <a href="http://www.ticalc.org%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.ticalc.org&lt;/a> and find some programs for yourself w/ formulas</p>

<p>there was a question where you needed to know the formula for the area of a trapezoid. i forgot it, but it's pretty easy to figure out.</p>
