Does anyone know of a good forum site where I can ask Math nerds for help on school Math homework (like geometry, high school level stuff) and actually get quick replies? Thanks!

Um, CC?

www.artofproblemsolving.com is a good math website, but that's more for like contest-type math. Try this website too - http://mathforum.org/dr.math/

Thanks! I found a similar one too!

http://answers.yahoo.com
Yahoo answers is where I get my help from. They're amazing.

Roman- Really? Do they reply quickly?

Yes right away. Like within minutes usually.

Either in the homework help or the math section, math section tends to get better results for higher level (Calc 1+) and homework tends to help more anything below calc.

Awesome! I have also joined Mathhelpforum.com - no replies yet.

Excuse my freshman math skills :(

Y = X - 3.

Wow that was obvious lol.

You just compare the numbers that it gives you in the corresponding X and Y slots, and find a relationship.

:)

You could also always ask here. There's always someone lingering around.

I'm not sure if this is right, but I think my teacher told me: m= y2-y1/x2-x1

(200th post XD YAY!)

lawl yeah thats the good ol' slope formula.

lol i posted on that yahoo answers thing. It's been over 30 minutes and no one has answered, romanigypsyeyes. maybe it's kind of late

This site has a lot of smart members who can help you.

CC, we're all here! (although my math skills are probably embarrassing compared to all the future Einsteins out here)

@wxmann: My point exactly :)

Coolphreak: Hmm... I dno why Yahoo isn't answering. Whenever I ask they answer right away. No matter what time of day it is. Did you do it in the math section or homework section?

lol still no answers. guess not too many people are fond of algebraic topology ;p

Lol well I'm about to ask something so we'll see.
