ABCD is a rectangle with BC=4 and AB=6. points P,Q< and R are different points on a line that is parallel to AD. point p and q are symmetric about line AB and points Q and R are symmetric about line CD. What is the length of PR?

If it is symmetric about AB or BC, then its length to the left of AB or BC is the same as the length to the right of AB or BC.

So the sum of one half of PQ and one half of QR is 4 because that takes up the entire width of the rectangle (which is 4). The sum of the other halves of PQ and QR is the same (4), so the total is 4+4=8. Answer is 8

or you could split up the sections in the rectangle as x and 4-x because the sum is 4 (x+(4-x)=4) and then mirror it over AB and CD. Add the lengths up and get 8
