I want to be a business major at UCLA.

Math

lettuce be cereal

Why can’t you do both? You can get the diploma with 4 HLs and 2 SLs

If I may ask, what is HL?

Sent from my WX445 using CC

It stands for Higher level and it’s a two year course. Standard Levels can be one or two. In order to receive the IB diploma, one has to take three HL classes and three SL classes from six different subject areas on the IB hexagon and take tok (theory of knowledge) write an extended essay and complete 150 hours of cas (creativity action service). IB is pretty much AP or A levels on steroids the UN oriented way.

if I wanted to be a business major, I’d ideally have doubled up with History and Economics both HL. then take Math HL and English HL to round out the course. science and 2nd language aren’t as necessary for business as those classes. Though, if you feel like it, you could do 2nd language HL over math.

in your situation, I’d take both and have 4 HLs, but if you can’t, then choose history, purely because of the major.
