Hey guys, I was just wondering how colleges handle the Math I and Math II exams. I just took the Math II, but I don't think I did too hot, and I was thinking about taking the Math I. I know colleges count this as one test? So does that mean they average the Math I and Math II scores together? Or should I just forget about taking the Math I and try to do the Math II again?

Acrylicz ur wrong.. they dont consider it as 1 test... they are 2 different tests..
it all depends on wt course ur goin for.. if ur goin for engineering or something math-related, most colleges will require level 2 however if ur going for a fine arts course or something level 1 will be good..

Don't be confused and think that the Math Ic will be easier than the IIc. Even though the material may not be as advanced on the Ic, it will make up for it by having harding questions on the material tested.

If you were to score 800 on the Ic you would be in the 99+ percentile, whereas 800 on the IIc would be in the 88 percentile.

They don't average anything...they take your highest, usually.

I agree though with most of the posts. If you're going into something math related or Ivies, you def need Math II (for the Ivies ppl will tell you it doesn't matter, but to be honest, you need to be competitive).

Also, the Math I has easier concepts, yes, but has a BRUTAL curve. Beware of it!
