PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. You get more accurate that way.

Do you use calculators more than doing problems in your mind? Because I usually rely on mental math more often than calculators, so I make a lot of careless errors. For my SATs, I do both. Missed 2 problems on the math section both times I took it.

calculators2thextreme

mental math...calculators are useless(to me).

thanks guys

BTW: my post # 19 was meant for the person that posted # 15.
not you precocuios... sorry about that. =0

yea, i took it first time no studying fot a 720, second time no studying 730... its not that difficult, though the curve is

just learn how to use ur calculator well. if you do that u can answer half the hard questions just with your calculator

learn precalculus

i swear that stuff has helped me sooo much

I always use my calculator... when I'm in a stressful situation I like the reassurance the simple math I'm doing is right. It kills me to miss an easy question because I multiplied wrong or something. I generally have time on the math section so a quick check doesn't slow my down too much, depends on the person I think, though.

^ yea, most of my mistakes are because of careless calculation errors. that really pi$$es me off.
so would you all agree that I can go from 670 to 740 in one try????????

umm i need to go from a 590-660.

i would think that is possible. maybe even 700?

i have been thinking of getting a tutor... is that a good idea?

anyone can get 2300+ if they practice correctly.

just do as much practice questions as possible. its amazing how easier they get over time. blue book rocks

so you're saying that a tutor is a bad idea...?

can u give a link to the place where i can buy the blue book? also, which is better... blue book or 10rs
