Math I or IIC?

I'm a incoming Junior and will be taking what is equivalent to a Accelerated/Honors Precalculus Course during the year.I was wondering, should I take the Math I or IIC? I am planning to take the Math IC in January since I first thought the math was easy and then the Math IIC in June, but then I saw a collegeboard warning on their site saying that "if you plan on taking the Math IC even though your qualified for the IIC in hopes of a higher score, you might be dissapointed." So should I still take both or just one since i will be taking a precalc course this year or both (in the interest of getting the best score)????? Thanks

Take math IIC in June.

Math Ic is easier, but the curve is much easier at Math IIc. Since you plan to take IIc anyway, I think it's better to take it also in January, and if you are not satisfied with the score, retake in June.I know a friend who has taken Math IC and IIC in the same day and scored 800 at IIc and 770 at Ic.

I might take it in January just normally I'd want more time to study, since personally I don't think im as good at the math on IIC, but I havent looked much at the review books yet so I look at them first. I love it when they got nice curves =D

Math I was much harder for me simply because the material on it was stuff I had learned in like middle school. MathII is more of the stuff recently learned so it seemed to come to me more easily. The curve didn't hurt either...

im in a similar situation, but i'm a rising senior...i'm going to start pre-calc this fall (tooks stats as a junior). i plan on taking the physics and math I in october. should i sign for the math II in oct or nov or not at all?

Definitely take MathIIC. I know Stanford for one "strongly recommends" taking 2 SAT's, one of which being MathIIC.

IIC I skipped one and still got an 800 :)

definately do either IIC or both.

I'm doing both I guess, Math IC just to see what I can get and Math IIC after a longer period of studying for it
