I'm taking 2 subject tests in november - U.S. History and either Math I or Math II. I was planning on taking Math I but i recently heard about the curve it has so now i'm rethinking it. I'm currently in Pre-Calculus(regents) and math isn't my strongest subject. What is required to take the Math II subject test? - what topics does it involve? How much better is the curve than Math I? Do you think, only being in Pre-Calculus, I would've learned all the topics for Math II?

Take Math II so you bring the curve up.

I personally scored a tad bit higher on the Math II. The curve should help you.

Pre-Calc is enough for Math II. Try the SparkNotes sample tests and they should give you a good idea of what the Math II tests are like.

Thanks so much! I think I’m gonna take math II…if you do well on 2 sat subject tests but not another, you can choose which ones get sent to the colleges right?
