Will you be done with your precalc class before january? If so yes. If not still yes. The MathII test is not a very difficult test. It almost religiously follows the materials taught in a traditional precalc class. The only exceptions i saw were matrices (lol i’ve never learnt matrices ever, awesome) and limits. Matrices involve maybe 1 or 2 questions at the very end of the test while limits are a tad bit more common and way easier. Just grab a prep book and pay attention in class and you should do excellent.

precalc is more than enough for mathIIc
there may be a few topics that your class havent covered, but its perfectly do-able with a prepbook or two(I recommend barrons lol)
get your graphing calculator ready and you are set

If it doesn’t matter very much, and if it makes you more comfortable, you can just wait until you finish precalc. I took the math II test when I was in Calculus (Oct of senior year), and I didn’t study for it. The Math II test has a more generous curve, and is more favorably looked upon.

The math II curve isnt as generous as it used to be, I heard.
