hey everybody.. i wud like to know if its possible to give both math 1c and 2c and do colleges consider such an application or wud we come out looking foolish?? thanks.....

I would recommend against it, as most colleges do not want both Math IC and Math IIC. However, there have been people who have applied to HYP with such a combination and still been accepted... Still, don't do it. BTW, where in the UAE do you live? I have cousins in Dubai.

hey TruthSmoker i live in a place called Alain... a place about 1and half hr drive from.
Actually im plannin to give 3 sat 2's:math 2c ,chem and my 3rd option is undecided. i hav to choose between 1c , lit and physics. but 4 sum reason i heard that physics curve is steep and am not to keen on it...

The top physics student in my school got a 790 on the Physics SAT II, even with the huge curve, so I wouldn't recommend taking it unless you're really adept at Physics and are finishing a college preparatory course in it (AP physics). Lit is doable if you're good at CR, but once again, most colleges don't want you to take 1c if you already are taking 2c.

hmm.. im really confused.. coz somebody told me that lit is like really tough and everything with a very steep curve where in like 3 mistakes could be like a 640/650 or something.. i hope thats not true...

actually somebody told me that doing both math sat II's is an option pursued by many students....

Even though it may be persued by some students colleges may possibly want a diversity in the SAT II tests since most require them to be of different subjects, to test your ability with a variety of topics.
