Im wondering whether to take IC or IIC. I took IC my junior yr and didnt do that great (590) and im taking AP Calc AB this year. Would it be better to take IC over or just take IIC? I heard the IIC has a more generous curve.

With calculus you're now probably better prepared to take the level 2, and yes, I've heard the same thing about the level 2's curve.

do you think it would be bad to take IC? (im kinda leaning toward that now)

Level 2 does not test calculus.

dumbstruck1089; I suggest taking math Level II. Yes, the curve is MUCH more generous than the curve for the Math I exam. I heard that you can omit 5 and still score a perfect 800. If you are feeling confident in you math skills, definitely take Math Level II. Barrons overprepared me a WHOLE LOT, and when I took the real test it was a piece of cake. (BTW, Im in Calc too this year)

are your huys sure you can switch your test on the test day with no additional fee?

wat do you guys think of the "SAT II SUCESS MATH I AND IIC" by Thomas-Petersons?

Yes, you can switch test on the test day (except adding a language listening test). I did it, and wasn't charged any extra fee, so...

do you think it would look bad to colleges that a AP Calc kid took MATH IC?

I don't know... many colleges (MIT among them) claim that for them Math I or II is exactly the same. Whether that's true or not, no idea.

Calc does nothing for Math IIC. You can get about 8 off on the Math 2 according to sparknotes, Math I you cannot get any wrong.
