Hey guys, I just got a 760 on the math lv2. I was wondering if this score could hurt me since its the 71 percentile. Should I should retake or not? Is this score good enough for an engineering, chem, of physics major? Should I try to retake or focus on another subject test like chem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated =]

760 is a very good score. Due to the curve, the highest pecentile you can get on Math II is 85.

You can see the percentile ranks here:

You don’t really need to retake it, keep in mind that colleges look at more than just your SAT scores. If you are taking other subject tests, I would focus on studying for those because your math score is already very good.

thanks for your input =]

congrats on that 760! Yeah retaking isn’t necessary, just focus on other tests, if any.
